Obtaining lawful permanent residency, citizenship or the most protective immigration legal status available is critical to the successful integration of Colorado’s refugees. Immigration legal services help refugees by providing durable immigration relief, long-term work authorization, family reunification pathways, reduced barriers to housing, and the ability to participate fully in civic life. This in turn results in economic contributions to our local and state economies while diversifying and enriching not only our refugee communities but all of Colorado.
The Colorado Refugee Services Program (CRSP) funds high quality, affordable immigration legal services. Each individual’s path to a more permanent status in the U.S. is case-specific. Through licensed attorneys and Department of Justice (DOJ)-accredited representatives, CRSP-funded immigration legal services programs help eligible clients understand and navigate the complexities of the U.S. immigration system in pursuit of the immigration relief available to them.
Am I Eligible?
To receive CRSP-funded immigration legal services, in addition to meeting program-specific requirements for enrollment, you must have an ORR-eligible status. Learn more about eligible statuses on the Refugee Services Introduction page.
